Veteran Iranian actor Alireza Shojanouri is slated to star in new project ‘Insomnia’.
Shojanouri has recently joined the cast of Sirous Moqaddam’s latest series project ‘Insomnia’.
Born in 1955, Alireza Shojanouri has a degree in biology from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, and a degree in Italian literature from the University of Tehran.
He debuted his acting carrier in 1984 with the film ‘Grandma Swallow’ (Bibi Chelcheleh), which was directed by Kiumars Pourahmad.
His performance in ‘The Fateful Day’ (1994) brought him much credit among the audience.
Among his other works are the movies ‘The Stone Lion’ (1986), ‘Tomorrow’ (2001), ‘Doubt’ (2009), ‘One Minute and Eleven Seconds’ (2012) and ‘Muhammad: The Messenger of God’ (2014).
Before Shojanouri, Ladan Mostofi and Reyhaneh Parsa have joined the cast of the series.
‘Insomnia’ is currently on the preproduction stage and will soon be produced in three seasons.
